Stefan Eisenburger portrays the two senior swimmers Erich Liesner (86) and Hans-Jürgen Schmidt (68) in his. A "Heimatfilm" from the Ruhr area, which tells of a male friendship, of the complaints of old age, of community and also a little of sporting success. When the filmmaker is killed in an accident, both protagonists lose a friend, and their humorous way of looking at life is put to the test. Three filmmaker friends take over the project and finish telling the story. A laconic film about friendship, death and ordinary life.
